I found the videos intresting, did you ever get the teapot to stay on the table? I really like your ideas, show us more!

Hi Mathew, I repeated the action about 20 times or so before it eventually fell off the table, although when it happened I tried to run back to it and catch the pot before it fell. Part of me wanted the teapot to break but I also really wanted to preserve it. It was really frustrating, but in the end I was quite sad it broke. I have some other videos with the teapot which are the same but the pacing is different. I also have some of me wrestling with a chair, these aren’t very strong but I might put them up nonetheless since they’re still part of the process.

Myself and some wonderful friends ran a cake stall at uni this Tuesday to raise a bit of extra money for the degree show next year. I think we raised a little over £90 pounds. Well done us! I’m going to upload some photos now so you can all see.

Next Tuesday the entertainment committee are hosting a cake sale...

Next Tuesday the entertainment committee are hosting a cake sale to raise a few extra pennies for the degree show next summer. I made a flyer for this…I think the violence in it accurately reflects the anxiety I’ve been experiencing this week.

I’ve got my third year presentation on Tuesday. Its also my birthday, so I want to do it well.

I watched ‘Man on the Moon’. The film about Andy Kaufman on Thursday night. Its really great and I think I’m a massive fan of Mr. Kaufman now. What I liked so much was the depiction of Tony Clifton.

Kaufman seemed like a really interesting character - there’s a constant ambiguity of whether something was parody or ‘real’ (whatever that means, since editing can manipulate anything) and I think ‘Man on the Moon’ definitely adds to this.

Anyway…back to making the presentation.

I’m in the British Library today, working on my dissertation. This is causing me much grief at the moment, but I’ve got until March to have this done so I think all will be well.

I went to the loo about ten minutes ago and saw Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip, I knew it was him because he had his head resting on top of his short little body and legs and arms. It was him because it was no-one else but him.

Tomorrow the Youth Board have Dot Dot Dash Dot which I am super-duper excited about.

If you’re in East London tomorrow night, please come along.

On Monday I met Sara in Sainsbury’s. She has been in Turkey since graduating from my course last year. It was a lovely coincidence since she’d just got off the plane that afternoon. Tonight a few of us are going out for a proper get together.

Now I’ll get back to the dis….

When I went home last weekend I found two ancient rolls of film, I brought them back and had them processed. There were a few things on them from foundation and some things in the first year which was a bit of a shock. Here’s a pic of my brother Francis.
